Ginger Honey Drink

ginger honey

Ginger honey drink is often used as a home remedy for colds and ridding phelgm! It can’t get simpler than this! I find this particularly comforting when I’m feeling under the weather and I’d usually make more – like a whole pot of it – so that I can drink this throughout the day.

Ingredients
  • 4 slices ginger (bruised)
  • honey to taste
  • 1 cup water (240ml)
Instructions
  1. Place ginger in water and bring to boil in a small saucepan. Let it steep (covered) for 10-15min.
  2. When the water is cool, add honey to taste (high temperatures negate the benefits of honey).
  3. Sieve out the ginger.
  4. For a stronger ginger taste, you may want to extract the juice from the ginger after sieving out the slices.

This sounds like such a simple yet powerful drink! I really love how natural ingredients like ginger and honey can come together to create something both comforting and beneficial for health.

Ginger has long been known for its digestive and anti-inflammatory properties, while honey adds soothing and antioxidant benefits—making this combination especially great for immunity and overall wellness.

What I like most is how easy it is to prepare, yet it offers so many benefits—from helping with cold symptoms to just being a warm, relaxing drink at any time of the day. Recipes like this really show that healthy choices don’t have to be complicated.
