We love to visit Universal Studios Singapore, especially during festive periods (our USS trip for Christmas). Over the March school holidays, we were invited by Resorts World Sentosa to check out the Easter Eggstravaganza at Universal Studios Singapore.
There were plenty of beautifully adorned eggs everywhere!!
We found this Universal Studios egg to be the cutest of all! It was so well-loved that we never managed to find it without a queue to take a photo the entire day!
Eggs were decorated according to the various sections of USS, but one thing in common they had? They were very captivating!
Besides the beautiful Easter flowers and eggs, Easter Eggstravaganza at Universal Studios Singapore includes an all new Easter-exclusive stage show. The new show promises a grand entrance unlike no other, with the Egg Lord flying through New York before inviting guests to his royal luncheon at ‘Eggingham Gardens’.
After we followed the flying Egg Lord through the street, we were then ushered to Eggingham Gardens (just behind the Elmo Ride (Spaghetti Chase)) where we watched the punny Egg Lord with his guests at his luncheon in cool air-conditioned comfort – a great respite on a very scorching day.
The Royal Lunch at Eggingham Gardens is an interactive stage show with ‘live’ singing and dancing featuring an original storyline.
After the show, there was a photo-taking session with the cast – they split up into two groups so the queues won’t be overwhelmingly long.
Besides the show, the friends from Sesame Street will also be decked out in Easter outfits:
Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to join the queue fast enough and were rejected due to their time constraints 🙁
After catching the show, we proceeded to Far Far Away where we had a snack before heading to the Milk Bar for The Dance for the Magic Beans by Puss In Boots and Kitty Softpaws.
During the performance, children could proceed to the front to get an Easter egg each (while stocks last).
We also managed to get a shot with the Easter Bunny during the Meet and Greet Session (after which my boy knocked out in his pram while my girl and I went to queue for the Transformers ride and Enchanted Airways) –
