{Review} Visolift facial at Sccube the Apothecary

A few Saturdays back, I was invited to try out Visoanka’s Visolift facial at Sccube the Apothecary, a luxury skincare store, located at Ngee Ann City.

Visolift facial at Sccube the ApothecaryDeveloped by the brilliant Ms Elizabeth Visoanska, who conceived the brand after working in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years, the revolutionary Visoanska skincare products use only ingredients that are naturally found or present in our skin and are specifically developed for mature skin and address anti-aging issues.

Besides Visoanska, Sccube the Apothecary carries cult beauty brands like Philip B, Dr Brandt, RéVive, Rodial, and Euoko, amongst others.

Visolift facial at Sccube the ApothecaryOk, back to the facial that I experienced. Visoanska’s Visolift facial makes use of the Baltic Amber stone which contains an antioxidant that helps with anti-aging and invigorates the body. For the Visolift facial, there is no extraction at all. After cleansing the face, the therapist used the baltic amber stone on my face, which felt rather cool and calming, and the whole facial just focused on massaging the face with upward strokes followed by a hydrating mask at the end. I’m not sure if the facial actually includes a shoulder/back massage which is common in facials because the therapist didn’t touch my back at all (a few pats) until the facial was over.

After the facial, there wasn’t any noticeable lifting, but I really wasn’t expecting one facial to work miracles. Anyway, it’s possibly because I’m still considered relatively young, or so I like to believe 🙂 However because of the premium products used, my skin did look much more radiant and it was oh so smooth!

The Visolift facial is priced S$288 but currently available at an introductory price of S$138 from now till the end of 2013.
