BeKind Skincare Review

In my last post, I shared my experience at My Cozy Room Boutique Spa where I did the Ultimate Pore Extraction Facial. At the end of the facial, I was given some samples of the BeKind skincare products used during the facial to try out. After using the samples, I was really impressed by the efficacy of the products and My Cozy Room very kindly sent over the full-sized products, including the one that I was intending to buy!

Having a soft, supple and dewy complexion right after a facial is a given. But I have found that with my normal facials, that effect doesn’t seem to last. With the BeKind skincare range, I have actually managed to maintain that, so much so I actually received compliments during the Chinese New Year visiting about how radiant I look, and how I seemingly have not aged. 😀

So let’s move on to the products I love! BeKind skincare products are curated to suit the local skin condition, especially in a humid environment in Singapore. They are especially effective against maskne, acne, clogged pores, dry skin and sensitive skin. BeKind products use natural and effective ingredients and do not include harmful ingredients such as Parabens that are detrimental to our skin and health. To top it off, the products are also 100% vegan and cruelty-free!

To start off my skincare routine at the end of the day, I will clean my skin first of makeup using micellar water. After that, I will pump out some of the BeKind Hydra Purifying Cleanser and spread it over my face with some water.

The Hydra Purifying Cleanser is a botanical-based (Honey, Chamomile, Licorice extract) gel cleanser suitable for all skin types – even dry and sensitive skin conditions. It’s a powerful, hydrating cleanser that effectively cleanses the skin without stripping away moisture and maintains the skin’s pH level at an ideal 5.5.

It thoroughly deep cleanses the build-up of dirt and dust, makeup residue, sweat, and sebum that accumulate throughout the day. The honey and chamomile ingredients soothe inflammation and wrap the skin with a layer of protection and hydration.

After cleansing, I apply the Hydro Renewal Peel on my face. I only do this about once a week or so for maintenance. The Hydro Renewal Peel is a gentle yet deep-cleansing exfoliating gel with ingredients rich in vitamins (Sea Kelp), anti-ageing agents that boost cell turnover and renewal (Swiss Apple Stem Cell), and hydration (Deep Sea Water). I then proceed to rub in circular motions around the face and you can see the little white specks on my face after the exfoliation.

As a natural exfoliator, it is incredibly gentle, packed with nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, and suitable even for sensitive skin. After that, I just rinse off thoroughly with water before proceeding to the next step.

This next product is my all-time favourite and and according to My Cozy Room founder, Celine, it is also a fan fave – the Hydra Soothing Toner. As I shared briefly in my previous post, I love how this smells and feels after application. It has a lovely calming and refreshing floral scent and the skin feels so supple after that.

You’d be glad to know that the Hydra Soothing Toner is naturally scented! It is an alcohol-free and antioxidant-rich toner enriched with botanical ingredients (Aloe Vera, Rosehip, Cucumber) to nourish and soothe all skin types while tightening open pores, especially after a warm cleanse.

Rich in rosehip, which is essential for collagen production, the Hydra Soothing Toner keeps your skin healthy, plump, and properly moisturised. Together with aloe vera and cucumber, which contain antioxidants and calming properties, they reduce overall inflammation and irritation, especially as a result of external pollutants or maskne.

If I am sleeping in an air-con room for the night, I would apply the Hyaluron Repair Serum next, followed by the EGF Repair Cream. If not, I would skip to the next product.

The Hyaluron Repair Serum is a lightweight serum containing hydrating ingredients and medicinal plant extracts (Centella Asiatica extract, Rose extract) that provide intense repair, hydration, and a non-viscous yet dewy complexion for up to 72 hours.

This non-sticky serum absorbs exceptionally well into dry/normal skin types and is the perfect solution to dry, irritated, and acne-ridden skin.

The last product I use is the EGF Repair Cream. The EGF Repair Cream contains antioxidants and premium ingredients like Swiss Apple Stem Cells, Hexapeptide-3 & Pentapeptide-3, and EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) that work together to uplift and maintain youthful skin and complexion.

It promotes skin regeneration, stimulates collagen production, and improves cell turnover. I love how light it feels and it is non-greasy, so I don’t go to bed feeling sticky and uncomfortable.

I have actually not taken a photo of myself at night sans makeup but this time, I really felt confident enough about how dewy and plump the skin looks after a month of using BeKind skincare products. This photo is taken using the back camera of the phone so there is no auto beautifying of the face unlike the front facing selfie cam function 😛

I wouldn’t claim to have perfect skin but I’m very grateful to have such fine looking skin in my forties!

In case you’re curious about my daytime skincare routine, I use the cleanser, followed by the toner, the serum then finally, sunshield.

Overall, I really recommend the BeKind skincare products. I feel they are very reasonably priced for its efficacy. If you’re looking for a new range of skincare products, the BeKind skincare line is your answer. If you go for the Ultimate Pore Extraction Facial and follow up with these products, you’d be definitely pleased with the results, just like me!
