I have been Mother Cow since July 2008 and not a day has passed that I have not fulfilled my duty… till August 2015 (click to read my last breastfeeding post). When I started out, I thought hey, 6 months of breastfeeding already sounds like a daunting task. What I didn’t foresee or know was the strong bond that breastfeeding so naturally provides that even pregnancy didn’t stop me from extended breastfeeding. Despite disapproval from naysayers, I continued to tandem breastfeed for nine months before my daughter was eventually weaned at four years old.
Crazy, I must have been to even harbour the thought of breastfeeding two. But that’s why God gave me two breasts, I reasoned. And that kinda stopped people from asking any further. 🙂
