During the last weekend of the December holidays, we went for a 2D1N getaway at Oasia Hotel. We stayed there once when my little boy was 5 months old and his very first dip at a pool was at Oasia Hotel! Back then we stayed in the Deluxe room but since it didn’t have a bathtub, it was difficult for us to bathe the then 5-month-old. Our second time back, we booked a Club Room for our Oasia Hotel staycation from Deal.com.sg.

The Club Room is unfortunately only as big as the Deluxe room (25sqm) and having just stayed at Equarius Hotel at RWS (which is 51sqm for a normal room there), our children were a little disappointed by the size of the room.

Well, at least the Club Room comes with a bath tub (a little small though), so that was still the kids’ highlight of the room.

The benefits of staying at the Club Room include privileged access to The Living Room and its pool facilities on the 22nd floor, as well as:

• Priority check in at The Living Room
• Complimentary breakfast, cocktail and all-day coffee, tea, juices, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks (from 6pm to 8pm) at The Living Room
• Complimentary one piece of suit pressing per stay
• Daily newspapers

Meanwhile, I went to check out the infinity pool and the jacuzzi, just located outside the Living Room:

There’s actually a 20m lap pool and jacuzzi located on the 8th floor but since this time we were able to use the exclusive pools, we didn’t swim there.

Since the infinity pool was terribly cold (as we expected from our previous staycations at Quincy Hotel), we decided to stay put in the jacuzzi instead. 😀

Oh so warm and comfy! The kids went to the jacuzzi thrice during our stay there, and even though little boy doesn’t really enjoy swimming, he warmed up (pun intended) to the idea and started kicking around too.

The kids requested to go to the jacuzzi after dinner and we obliged – we got them in to play while we sipped at our hot mochas by the side, enjoyed the cold breeze since it rained that evening and had some quiet time with each other.

Oh, light snacks are served at The Living Room between 6-8pm but if you’re thinking of getting your dinner there, don’t bother because unless you eat like a bird, you’ll not be filled up. Go for a proper dinner and return for maybe a cocktail or coffee. 🙂 We also got a $100 dining voucher which didn’t need to be utilised during the stay (as part of the deal) so we can return to any of the Far East hotels for a meal, before June. 😀

The deal was quite a steal, don’t you think?
