cornflour slurry for thickening the sauce, if necessary
Instructions
Rinse the salmon fillet and pat dry with a paper towel.
Sprinkle dried oregano on the fillet (optional).
Heat some olive oil in a non-stick pan and sear the salmon on both sides till cooked - you probably won't take more than 6-8 minutes for this, depending on the thickness of the fillet.
While cooking the salmon, bring the sauce in a small saucepan to a boil and thicken with cornflour slurry to desired consistency.
Plate the cooked salmon then drizzle the sauce over it.
Serve.
Notes
Serve together with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables for a complete meal. Great with rice too.
