Leading a happy, comfy life

He’s 2.5 years old, super bubbly, chatty, and very cheeky.

He’s got strange fashion sense.

He leads a fairly exciting life.

He LOVES learning.

And as with all other kids, he loves to be cuddled, loved, pampered and comfortable. His favourite moments of the day, I daresay, are after his bath and before his nap/ bedtime. That’s when he gets into a fresh change of clothing, a nice rubdown with essential oils, bedtime stories, hugs and mama’s milk. Now which kid wouldn’t look forward to that? 🙂

He’d entertain himself by browsing through his books or doing pretend play with his panda while I clear the bathroom after his bath.

Because he’s now used to the comfort of his favourite Thomas the train underwear (yes, he’s partially toilet-trained and only needs diapers when he sleeps and for my convenience, I also dress him in diapers when we’re out), he can be kinda fussy when it comes to diapers. Plasticky tapes, stiff diapers or diapers that cut into those fleshy thighs are a no-no for sure! And I’m glad to report that Drypers Drypantz has gotten Mr Fussy’s stamp of approval.

The new, improved Drypers Drypantz

The improved Drypers Drypantz is even softer than before – it has a 100% breathable soft cloth-like cover which keeps skin cool and fresh. After almost 6 years of mothering, I can tell that this is of premium quality! What’s more, to promote skin health and comfort, Drypers Drypantz has been enhanced with aloe vera, chamomile, olive extracts and vitamin E.

Drypers Drypantz provides a snug fit for babies at all stages with Comfort Fit™ where the soft waistbands don’t cut into baby’s skin or leave unsightly marks after long hours and more importantly, it supports a toddler’s active lifestyle.

That’s him when he was younger and still growing out his hair, among other things

The snug fit gives me the assurance that no matter how much climbing, swinging, jiggling he does in the day, the diapers will stay in place, without shifting. And even though he’s still wearing size L (he was about 9kg when we started him on Drypers and he’s about 12kg now), the diapers still fit him perfectly!

In terms of absorbency which I’m sure you’re keen to know, Drypers Drypantz has an absorbent core which quickly absorbs urine and prevents flow-back promoting long-lasting dryness (Activ-Core™). In our case, it’s only leaked once and it was due to mishandling of the situation rather than an issue with the diaper – he had a major poo session and my mother-in-law squashed out the poo by plonking him on her arm while trying to ascertain that he pooed. Other than that, we’ve been accident-free!

And you know, because he’s such a darling, and since he only needs to be diapered for his bedtime and when we’re out, we really want to provide him with the most comfortable fit of diapers. A happy child maketh happy parents. And well, as you can tell, he’s definitely comfy and happy.

Just dropping a note to say hi! Our boys are both 2.5 years old 🙂 Anyways, kinda random question not about diapers, where did you get those do-a-dot markers? We were using some IKEA ones but those have run dry…. TIA! Mei @ Finally Mama

My friend got them from the States for me! 😀 But I’ve seen them sold at a scrapbooking store at VivoCity (can’t rem the name of the shop) and I think it’s available online as well. Seems that it’s still cheaper to get via Amazon, even with the shipping, as compared to getting it from SG.
