The kids had been looking forward to watching Disney on Ice ever since we went for the roadshow at JEM.
They were so elated when their question “are we going to watch Disney on Ice today?” finally yielded a positive answer on Wednesday!
And they were not disappointed! Neither were we. In fact we (the adults) loved it too! My hubby remarked during the intermission that he felt like skating. I must admit I did too, but I think I’d rather much prefer to gawk at the graceful skaters instead.
My personal favourites were Aladdin and Lion King.
Aladdin, simply because it brought back so many memories for me as a kid! And Lion King because it was the most spectacular segment of all in my opinion.
Of course, who can resist screaming in adoration when Mickey and friends emerge?
And the finale was awesome as well!
I loved how the entire show flowed smoothly, bringing the audience so many different, well-loved stories and moving tunes ranging from the first animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, to the 50th Disney film, Tangled (oh, which happens to be my daughter’s favourite!).
