Remember Bleagh, the friendly monster who learnt plenty of values on his first day of school? I reviewed Bleagh!: A book about values earlier this year and I want to share with you how Bleagh’s doing in Bleagh and Bleep!: a second book about values.
Now, just by looking at the cover, you’d be able to guess that Bleep is a monster too – and a girl monster at that. If you already have Bleagh, you can ask your child(ren) who they think Bleep is (predicting skills are important in comprehension).
If you haven’t guessed by now, Bleep is Bleagh’s sister. In this second book of values, they learn about respect, independence, commitment and confidence – highlighted with a gold badge just like in book 1.
I thought the page (below) was particularly encouraging, especially for my little girl who has the tendency to give up when the going gets tough. I took the opportunity to share with her about how she should persist and have the tenacity to continue trying, even when she may find that the task too difficult.
I also like how Bleagh and his friends exemplified how children can make keen observations of the world around them, ask meaningful questions and have the curiosity and enthusiasm to find the answers to their questions.
This is what I’ve been wanting the kids to do. Constantly look around, be aware of our surroundings, make observations and ask questions.
I shall leave you to get the book and find out more about the story. But for now, if you’d like to win a copy, here’s how you can do so!

I want to teach values through reading the book to my girl!

This seems like a good book. My sons will love these.
Jerry loves to read and i wish to add another book to his collection!
Moral value fun colorful books are the best to get children attention as research said,
children look for “hero” in their life/story to relate to. Parents can connect the book character when they want to re sharing of the value that they want their children to nurture and kids will feel excited and understand better and embrace them. Will place the book at my set up RC mini library after my son finished reading, to share to the community. Thank you for the giveaway.
My son loves reading and am sure he would like to have Bleagh and Bleep book to his collection.
I would like to win this book so that i can use it to teach my child about values.
My girls love Bleagh the first book.
My son loves reading and often retells the stories which he read to his younger sister. I am sure with this series. Both my children will be glued to it and thus create stronger bond.
I hope my son will not only retell and share the stories from this series with his sister but to his friends from school and enrichment classes.
