We made these pretty snowflake doilies as one of the advent activities 2013. Since we made so many of them, I decided to string them up and tie them onto tinsel and hang them on the hooks outside my door. Since I’ve moved here for 1.5 years, I’ve never utilised the hooks the previous owner had installed till now. 😀
I was lazy to iron the snowflakes flat first so they were pretty curled up but seriously, I wasn’t gonna undo all that stringing just to perfect things and decided that they looked cute enough to be hung up… heh…

That’s beautiful! I have made some paper snowflakes with my kids during Christmas too, we just pasted on Christmas cards because I thought the snowflakes are quite flimsy to withstand wind.
We made paper snowflakes for the past 2 years but I thought doilies would make them look even more exquisite! These have managed to withstand the wind so far 🙂 try next year?
Love it!
