Sentosa Spooky Junior 2013

Last Friday, we were invited to the cutest halloween party ever at Sentosa Spooky Junior @ Port of Lost Wonder (POLW)!

It was the first time we were at POLW at night and the view was spectacular.

We were given masks –

and there were also embellishments which could be added to the masks –

After that, there was a scavenger hunt but we skipped that and went straight to check out the booths. My girl had been so excited about painting pumpkins since I told her about it and so we headed straight for that! The decorations at some of the booths were really gorgeous, and I’m sure you’ll agree after you view the photos 🙂

The kids were given the pumpkins and the painting started:

After that, we left the pumpkins on a table to dry and proceeded to the next booth (Garden fairies) where the kids could get either a manicure or a glitter tattoo. Well, my girl got a manicure (her first!) and my boy got a tattoo. If you want to have both, you’d have to pay in curios (the currency at POLW).

yes, he chose a panda!

After that, we proceeded to make our magic potions. I love the decor, the use of glass test tubes and the costume!

My girl carefully mixed the potion –

and it was quite tasty too –

We headed to check out the Royal Portrait where we could take a family photo but since my girl wasn’t interested we skipped that. You can also rent costumes to take the portrait at Royal Boutique but you’d have to pay extra curios.

The bubbly cauldron looked super fun but we weren’t ready to get wet that late at night (also needs extra curios to play).

I think my children’s favourite booth was the cotton candy one!

And what’s a party without balloons? 😀

We left at the end of the party so we managed to catch a shot of the very passionate team at POLW –

And I loved the lights –

We were quite tired by the end of the party but we had two very happy kids!! The best halloween party in our opinion – nothing gory and bringing out the fun elements of halloween for kids! Remember to check out this lovely party next year!

Tickets price:
$28/Child (POLW Members at Curio Exchange)
