Two things. Cookie monster and his panda.

My boy absolutely cannot sleep without his panda, he carries a panda waterbottle, loves anything with pandas, reads books with pandas, squeals when he sees pandas on tv, I’m sure he’ll stuff his face with Hello Panda if I don’t stop him and he’d love to carry a panda bag if my husband will let me buy it.
And guess what? Emicakes was so nice to send over a cake over the weekend when we celebrated his birthday in advance – and they sent him a Patsy Panda cake! When Emicakes heard how in love he is with pandas, they decided to send him a panda cake – awww, thanks!
Coincidentally, we ordered the panda design cake from Emicakes’ Happy Faces range for my girl’s 2nd birthday!
Needless to say, my little precious was overjoyed. In fact when he saw the picture of the cake on my Macbook prior to the cake arriving, he’d already declared, “Bear bear cake! Mine? Mine!!!”
I shall post more of the celebration photos tomorrow and get down to the review. ๐ A bit of background information – we love Emicakes because the cake is super tasty, not overly sweet and we’ve ordered Emicakes for our kids’ every birthday (with the exception of my girl’s this year because she wanted to decorate her own cake) ๐
We normally order the design cakes with D24 durian filling but this Patsy Panda cake with chocolate mousse filling was very delectable as well!
The chocolate taste was not so overwhelming that you would refuse a second (or third piece) – and yes, we ate more than two slices each which means we more or less polished off the cake after it was cut – and it was just the 4 of us. Besides being panda lovers, we are a family of chocolate fans.
