Of course, no one really needs to know it’s a diaper bag and here I am, going out with my new bag on a day out with the family.
The bag includes two roomy main compartments, a changing mat, insulated removable bottle holder, stroller hooks, water repellent wet pocket, and an additional shoulder strap.
Since my kids don’t drink formula milk on the go, we don’t bring out the insulated bottle holder. As for the additional shoulder strap, I keep it in the bag so that in case I need it, I can always quickly attach it to the bag.
What I like most about the bag (apart from its design) are these nifty stroller hooks which I leave attached to the sides of the bag.
Obviously, you’d need your child or something heavy to be in the stroller to stabilise the stroller or it will topple with the weight of the diaper bag and its contents. Overall, I really like that I can just strap the bag on the stroller as it can get quite tiring after carrying the bag for some time. I’m sure those of you who lug along nappy bags would appreciate this feature!
As for the matching changing mat, I like that there’s a velcro to hold it together when it’s kept as the previous diaper bag I used didn’t have this feature for the changing mat and it looked so untidy in the bag.
The roomy main compartments feature zippers which open almost all the way down to the sides allowing you easy access without letting the items fall out of the bag –
In the other main compartment, I love that there’s a pocket to slot in wet wipes/ tissues and you don’t even need to take out your wet wipes – just take what you need straight from the bag:
I store the diapers and all the items pertaining to changing in this compartment so that I only need to open one compartment of the bag when I need to change my boy.
One of the small zip compartments is meant for carrying your personal belongings as there are slots for your mobile and a detachable key ring:
Here’s how the rest of the compartment looks:
Finally, in the last zip compartment, I stuff in some stuff that would keep the kids busy such as colour pencils and paper/ notebook.
Personally, I’m really in love with the bag’s design – it makes me smile just with its bright, cheery prints! I wish it were a little smaller though since we don’t always carry a lot of stuff with us these days, now that the kids are older (if only I have a shrink ray!). Nevertheless, it’s a very functional bag with gorgeous prints and I’m sure parents with very young kids who need endless diaper changes and formula milk feeds will truly appreciate its size.
