I know this comes really late, but I haven’t really gotten back my blogging mojo since I left off in January due to my vertigo and I’ve only blogged sporadically since. I guess the vertigo episodes just made me feel that I needed to slow down more and only work on things that really really matter… like spending time with my family. 🙂
Anyway, we hardly eat out for Valentine’s Day dinner since we had children and it’s always cooked by me. This year, it falls really close to Chinese new year again so it was hard to get any fresh food. In fact, I grabbed the only two packs of beef that were on the shelf that day – the poultry shelf was completely empty. Well, I made do with what I had and this was our very simple dinner, made on 13/2 since my mother-in-law wanted to come over on Valentine’s day itself.
